The Challenge: Antrim Coast Half Marathon wanted to create a festival-like atmosphere for their ‘Start-Hub’ for 2 hours prior to the race starting.

The event needed to cater to approximately 6000 athletes while maintaining a professional and impactful visual and audio experience.

The key challenges included:

• Sourcing a large LED screen to be positioned in the Start-Hub.
• Planning and liaising with the event organisers re: timings and media to be displayed.
• Working with partners to ensure PA coverage for a large space in adverse weather.
• Ensure the event was compliant with relevant license authorities regarding the playing of commercial music.
• Working safely and at speed to ensure athletes and event staff were protected.
• Overall production and event management to ensure seamless execution.
